Delete Your Account

Your account belongs to the server you joined

Hora connects to independently operated private servers. Your account and uploaded content are held by the operator of the particular server you joined, not by the Hora app developer. Hora only connects to servers that support permanent in-app account deletion.

Delete an account in the app

  1. Open the app’s general settings.
  2. Select Account deletion.
  3. Review the connected servers and confirm the destructive action.

Hora asks every connected server to permanently delete your account, your videos and messages, and your memberships and sessions. Groups you created are not deleted when other members remain; ownership is transferred to another member. A group with no other members is deleted.

After all servers confirm deletion, Hora removes their credentials, connection details and cached chat data, resets your local profile, and opens onboarding again.

Request deletion without the app

Send your request directly to the operator of the specific server. Use the operator contact or account-deletion URL shown before you connect and in the server details inside Hora. The operator may need to verify that the account belongs to you before deleting it.

The Hora developer cannot identify or delete accounts on independently operated servers. Email support@horavlog.com only for data processed by the Hora developer as described in the Privacy Policy, or if you need help locating the deletion controls.

Data on your device

Deleting all server accounts clears their local cached records and your profile settings. Recorded videos stored on your device are not deleted. Uninstalling Hora removes the app’s remaining local database and secure credentials, but uninstalling by itself does not ask any connected server to delete your account.
